The full-size Batmobile is a fantasy in the flesh.

Toward the end of winter, we are promised the release of a new Batman movie featuring Lego toys. Batman, as usual, drives his super car. Not so long ago, the car received a full-size format, became tangible and very much like his prototype from the movie. And it was done by engineers from the company Chevrolet. The Batmobile, which was assembled in 1:1 scale, has the following dimensions:

• It's over 5 meters long;
• The height of the structure is 2.1 meters;
• It's almost 3 meters wide.

The weight of the car is almost 800 kg, which is comparable even with serial cars. And even though it has no engine, no transmission, no full-fledged chassis and it is unlikely that you will be able to make a test drive on it, the lego Batmobile is still impressive!

From the movie screen to the real world

"Batman's Wagon" is made up of 344,187 elements painted in 17 different colors. All of this was painstakingly assembled and customized. The project alone took over two hundred hours. Just imagine how many man-hours went into designing it and then bringing it to life. According to Chevrolet's website, many young designers from the First Lego League were involved in order to accomplish such a large project. Those involved in the project are pleased with their work, and feel that the time and effort was well spent. Considering that the team spent 1833 hours building the Batmobile, the enthusiasm of the young talent is to be envied! Batman's car is also available in the Chevrolet range, and, judging by the description, has a maximum power of 20,000 "horses" and the corresponding price - 48 million dollars.
